We strive for wellness and health in our lives and for each one of us that journey looks a little different.  For Leona, she uses her knowledge of dance and yoga to help participants build a connection with their bodies. This connection allows one to breathe, strengthen and stretch the body. As spoken by Anne, one of her students, “Motion is Lotion!" and movement is so important for our well-being and mobility. 

 

Leona is a teacher that creates safe spaces for people to learn in and begin their journey to Wellness. Her 2 of Hearts Social Circles have had a positive impact in her community and aim to give women a safe space to connect, talk and heal.  Wellness isn’t just for the body, it is for the mind and soul as well.  If 2020 has taught us anything, it is about the importance of self care and our mental health.
